World Elder Abuse Awareness is commemorated on June 15Th. This is a day dedicated to raise awareness and to aid in the prevention of elder abuse. Elder abuse is any type of physical, emotional, or financial abuse to an elderly person. According to the National Center for Elder Abuse, roughly 2 million Americans over the age of 65, were abused by their caregivers. Father’s Day – We are celebrating Father’s Day with three days of activities geared towards fathers. We will be doing “Crafting with Dad” Saturday June 19th at 10am, hosting a cookout with hamburgers and hotdogs on June 18th at 10am, and serving “Doughnuts and Coffee with Dad” on June 20th at 12pm.
